2018: SARInet Fifth Annual Meeting
The Fifth SARInet Inaugural Meeting was held May 28-30, 2018 in Cartagena, Colombia. Full of informative presentations on new research, findings, and data platforms, discussions and focus groups and provided a forum for participants to share their experiences and learn more about SARI surveillance in the Americas. Our sincerest thanks to our hosts in the Colombia- as well as all of the presenters, participants and contributors who are helping make the SARInet 2018 meeting so productive.
SARInet 2017
The SARInet Inaugural Meeting was held May 22-25, 2017 at the Breathless Resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. We are in the middle of a packed three-day meeting. Full of informative presentations on new research, findings, and data platforms, discussions and focus groups and provided a forum for participants to share their experiences and learn more about SARI surveillance in the Americas.
Third Meeting SARInet (PR , 2016) - Agenda
The third annual SARInet (Severe Acute Respiratory Infections Surveillance in the Americas) meeting was held in San Juan, Puerto Rico from May 9-11, 2016. Nearly 80 participants from 26 countries, PAHO / WHO, CDC, COMISCA and CARPHA attended the meeting. Topics related to SARI surveillance, burden of disease, seasonality, and laboratory strengthening were discussed, including formats of both country and expert presentations and workshop-style skill-building activities.
